The mountains are calling.

The past month has been a roller-coaster ride. I am at a pivitol crossroads in my life and my self-discovery. As I say to Brent "I am still trying to figure out the mysteries of life." My education is leading me towards my ultimate goal of being an English professor. However, that is not my goal for right now. I am at a point in my life where I want to throw all inhibitions to the wind and disregard convention. Unfortunately, society tells me that I have to be toiling my days away at work and school. It all seems quite unfair, really. Nevertheless, we are planning on a Thailand trip at the end of August, so our journey as nomads will finally begin. If the stars align then there might also be a John Muir trail trek on the schedule this summer. I may not be doing what I want to be doing right now, but it is all necessary for me to be able to do what I wish in the future.

We have still managed to fit in plenty of adventures in between our laborious school/work hours.

This past Friday, after watching The Secret Life of Walter Mitty, we promptly went on a midnight trek up a mountain and took exposure pictures.

We are lucky enough to be spending the long weekend in Bryce with my parents.

Exposure pictures of Bryce at night.

More to come!
